We want to wish Katie & Mike "All The Best" in their new life together! They were married here at Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast on 10-11-12...That should make their anniversary date easy to remember! It was a small, intimate wedding and reception on a cool October afternoon. The tent was cozy with sides all around and some small heaters. The love shared with family and friends helped to warm the day!

Our last wedding of this season will be held on Saturday. Katy & Drew will say their "I do's" on the island with about 170 of their closest friends and family members looking on. The weather forecast is for a beautiful fall day! Best Wishes Katy & Drew!

The weatherman is predicting
freezing temperatures for tonight! So today we cut lots of our summer flowers and brought them inside for everyone to enjoy.

If you are looking for a reason to visit the Cumberland Valley, we suggest a stop at The Village Artisans to celebrate
American Craft Week - October 5-14. The Artist in Action this weekend will be Clare Margaret doing her paper cuttings of farm animals and everyday items. See Clare on Saturday, from 1 to 4 PM.
Historic Carlisle Barracks will be celebrating
OktoberFest this weekend with music, German food, and of course a little beer! This event takes place at the
Army Heritage & Education Center which is a wonderful museum even without the additional festivities!
Make your plans to
visit the Cumberland Valley during the fall, when the weather is great and the colors are wonderful! See YOU soon!
