What's happening in Carlisle PA

It's Labor Day Weekend and there are lots of things to do in our area this weekend! Friday, 9/2 - it's the last "First Friday" in downtown Carlisle. Music, kids fun, movie under the stars, and a vintage car show are all part of the fun. All these activities take place on West Hanover Street in Carlisle. In Harrisburg this weekend, it's the annual end of summer celebration know as "Kipona". An Art show, canoe races, music, lots of "fair food", and the big finale is fireworks over the river on Sunday night! Come stay at Pheasant Field B&B and enjoy this summertime favorite - Kipona. The word has a native American root meaning "wide sparkling water" - that's the Susquehanna River. We still have a few rooms open during the weekend. Come to Carlisle for the end of summer celebrations!
