Lots of couples are enjoying a special Valentine's Day getaway at Pheasant Field Bed & Breakfast. Because this is also a holiday weekend, we have more guests than usual for a Sunday night. Skiing was still great at Ski Roundtop; More restaurants are open on Sunday - for Valentine's Day; and the weather is cooperating this weekend!
We had a very special moment today - a wedding was held here this afternoon! Our very best wishes to the special couple! That new husband should not have difficulty remembering his anniversary date!
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

We move mountains (of snow) for our guests! Last weekend we had 22.5 inches of snow. Today we have another 15 inches of snow - with more still to come overnight.
We've been moving mountains of snow so that our driveway is clear for the upcoming holiday weekend. You can see Chuck working to clear the patio and walkways with his snow blower.
Who is that masked driver on that Kubota? It's Dee!
I bet you always wondered what an innkeeper does in their spare time...
We also had help from a friend with the original snow moving device - a shovel! Thanks!
Even our feathered friends enjoy breakfast on a snowy morning here at Pheasant Field B&B!
Our parking areas will be clear for Valentine's Day guests. Even if it's cold outside, our old farmhouse is warm and welcoming. If you forgot to make reservations for Valentine's Day, you may purchase a Gift Certificate to give now - and then enjoy your romantic getaway later.
Stay warm! We hope to see you soon!

We were blanketed in 22.5 inches of snow here at Pheasant Field B&B yesterday. Our hardy guests left here at 8 AM and headed out to the slopes where they enjoyed fabulous conditions at Ski Roundtop! Today will be another great day for skiing. Stay with us and get discount lift tickets here. Take a snow day!
The Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show opened yesterday at the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. One day is just not enough to see all this show has to offer. Remember that Cabin Fever continues here Monday nights through Thursday nights in February. Come for the sportman's show, take your time looking around at all the exhibits and seminars, stay 2 nights for the price of one!
We spent most of the day yesterday digging out from the snowfall. Our driveway and walkways are clear. We even made a path for the horses to get our of the barn. They also enjoyed frolicking in the snow. After a good roll in the snow, they appeared like horsey snowmen and pranced around in the white stuff. Maybe today will be a cross country ski day for me...
We hope to see you soon!
